Could Your Diet Failures Be Caused By Unresolved Emotional Issues?

Could Your Diet Failures Be Caused By Unresolved Emotional Issues?

Have you ever tried to lose weight but been unsuccessful?

Is maintaining a healthy eating regimen something you struggle with?

Imagine for a second if I told you that some people's excess weight is actually a result of unresolved emotional difficulties, as uncovered in a stunning new medical study.

If we're being really honest, the main reasons why most people are overweight are due to their eating habits and lack of exercise. In less than one percent of cases, issues with the thyroid or glandular systems are the root cause of the patient's weight problem. For the remaining 99% of people, their weight issues can be attributed to simple things like eating too much and not getting enough exercise.

But it's too easy and too basic to simply tell someone they're overweight because they eat too much. Should we not seek out the causes of people's overeating if it is the reason why individuals are overweight? The idea that people would be able to lose weight more easily if we addressed the causes of overeating makes great sense to me.

Is it true that you identify with any of these?

I find solace in food.

— on occasion, even when I'm not very hungry.

In times of sadness or isolation, I turn to food.

I feel better after eating.

Stress makes me eat.

As a reward for myself, I occasionally eat.

I find that eating helps me get over arguments with my boyfriend.

- When I feel like hitting myself, I eat.

- I grab the goodies whenever the kids get rowdy.

I have an unhealthy obsession with sugar when I'm anxious.

Emotional or comfort eating can manifest in many ways, some of which are listed above. If you don't fix these problems, losing weight and keeping it off will be very difficult for you. While dieting may help you feel better temporarily, you'll likely revert to comfort eating when your emotional problems return. Emotional events in your life dictate whether you will lose or gain weight.

The majority of people suffer from emotional eating, but they are unaware that it is happening. They have no idea that they always go for chocolate when they're nervous or that they always grab a biscuit from the biscuit jar after a quarrel with their spouse.

Everyone, regardless of gender, can be impacted by emotional eating. Even when they are aware of the problem, some people still don't know how to manage their comfort eating.

How then can we manage our emotional eating? Willpower is always an option, but I don't think most individuals will be able to pull this off. Therapy is another option, although it may take a long time (months or even years) to help you overcome your problems. What then is the solution?

If you are having trouble managing your emotions, there is a new treatment that can help. The acronym "EFT" stands for "Emotional Freedom Technique," the name of the therapeutic method. EFT is based on the principles of Chinese acupuncture and psychology. But instead of inserting needles, you'll just tap on specific meridian spots all over your upper body. While tapping, focus on your concerns and listen in to your thoughts. All you have to do is tap your worries away. I get that tapping your worries away sounds like a crazy idea to a lot of people, but the evidence supports the assertions. Fat loss has been facilitated for thousands of people via EFT. Losing weight is a breeze using EFT.

Addictions are another area where EFT excels. Once more, all you have to do is tap your addictions away. So, tap away your addiction to chocolate or cream desserts with EFT.

You won't get immediate results from EFT if you're trying to lose weight. Gaining weight was not an overnight event for you. Because of your excessive eating, it was a slow procedure. Therefore, you need to have patience when you want to lose weight. Losing weight too soon might be quite risky.

The ability to conduct EFT sessions remotely, over the Internet or over the phone, is a major plus. What to say and where to tap is something an EFT expert will instruct you on. People with extreme obesity, mobility issues, or agoraphobia can benefit greatly from EFT sessions conducted remotely via the Internet or over the phone.

What if I told you that EFT is ideal for weight loss and practically every mental and physical ailment you can think of? I know this is a lot to take in, but I genuinely believe it will help you. There are several cases when EFT has been successful when traditional medicine has failed. Anorexia, bulimia, self-harm, depression, phobias, allergies, rage, panic attacks, quitting smoking, asthma, shingles, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma, hypertension, and countless other conditions have been successfully treated with it.

So, what kind of mental problems are you facing if you are finding it difficult to lose weight?
